• Course Evaluation Survey Made Easy! (Thursday, May 10, 2012)
  
  Students: your end-of-course evaluation survey has been redesigned. It's short -- only four questions and a comment section -- and takes only a couple of minutes to complete. As you complete your courses, evaluate them too. Check your Charter Oak email during the last week of class for the survey link. Your feedback is anonymous and will be shared with your instructor after final grades have been filed.
• Final Grades for Spring Available in ACORN (Tuesday, May 8, 2012)
  
  Official final course grades are available through ACORN approximately 5-7 days after courses end. Grades posted in Blackboard are unofficial.
• TECH NEWS & UPDATES (Wednesday, March 28, 2012)
  
  • Regular System Maintenance -- Maintenance occurs every Wednesday between 6am and 8am ET. Please plan your work around this time.
  • Taking Tests with Mobile Devices -- Charter Oak strongly discourages students from taking quizzes and tests or submitting course work through Blackboard using a mobile or handheld device (iPad, smartphone, etc.). Tech Support offers this and other helpful tips in this article on successful test-taking in Blackboard. 
  • Web Browsers and Blackboard - Now that Mozilla.org has moved to a rapid-release upgrade schedule for its Firefox web browser, Blackboard users who use the latest versions of Firefox may experience issues. Contact Technical Support for details.
  • Our Technical Support Center is available 7 days a week to help you log into Blackboard®, Webmail, ACORN, and other Charter Oak systems.
